CEO Paul Sanford Joins Anaheim Boards to Accelerate City’s Growth and Opportunities
Anaheim, Calif. (November 23, 2021) – Wincome Hospitality announced this week that their CEO & Asset Manager, Paul Sanford, has been appointed to the Anaheim Workforce Development Board and the Anaheim Police Department Foundation Board. Sanford joins the leaders of these prestigious organizations to help improve the City of Anaheim’s economic growth and create greater opportunities for Anaheim workers and their families.
Having opened The Westin Anaheim Resort less than six months ago and continuing to grow the over 450 staffed positions for that hotel alone, Sanford is quickly accomplishing his mission to elevate hotel guest experiences and create jobs in the City of Anaheim.
Through his appointment to the Anaheim Workforce Development Board, Sanford aims to accelerate the creation of jobs and provide training programs for first and second-generation immigrants to succeed in the hospitality industry. “I’m proud Wincome Hospitality enables the pursuit of the American dream for our employees. We’ve hired first and second-generation immigrants, embraced them in the Wincome family, and helped them improve their experience as well as their quality of life. Their kids watch it happen and are the next generation. They’re the ones that are going to be driving us forward, and I love that,” said Paul Sanford.
Since he was appointed CEO & Asset Manager of Wincome USA in 1994, Sanford has led the real estate firm to its most significant growth to date. Under his leadership, Wincome started with a small boutique hotel and expanded to a regional portfolio of award-winning and multi-AAA diamond hotels, restaurants, and businesses in the Anaheim Resort District and South Coast Metro area.
Paul Sanford is known for his lifelong service within the hospitality and non-profit sectors of the Orange County community. He is one of the Board of Directors for the Marriott General Manager Advisory Council. He is also the chairman of the Anaheim Transportation Network, the Vice Chair for Visit Anaheim, as well as the Executive Committee Member for Travel Costa Mesa.
“The Anaheim Chamber commends Mr. Sanford on his ongoing commitment to our city’s development and business community,” said Todd Ament, Anaheim Chamber of Commerce President & CEO.
